MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -- In the wake of a complaint filed against him, challenging his residency, Al Tillman told a crowd of supporters he's not backing out of the race for Macon-Bibb County Commission District 9.
Tillman officially opened his campaign headquarters Thursday night. He threw a party at the space located on Bloomfield Road complete with free food and entertainment.
One of Tillman's former high school teachers spoke highly of the candidate saying he's the "hope" for Macon's future.
