MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - A Milledgeville woman is in jail after police accused her of stabbing a man with a large kitchen knife.
Major Reggie Hill says Kiera Davis is charged with aggravated assault. Hill says she got in a fight with Tyrone Davis, no relation, at his home Thursday evening. She went into the kitchen and returned with a large kitchen knife. That is when Hill says she stabbed the victim in the back "completely shoving the knife through his flesh, all the way to the handle," according to the release.
Hill says the victim stumbled outside onto the front porch where he was found by responding officer.
Kiera Davis fled the scene on foot. She later turned herself in to the police department.
Hill says the victim suffered from serious injuries and damage to his lungs. He went through emergency surgery and is listed in critical condition at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
Hill says charges will be upgrade pending the condition of the victim.
