DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - Jury selection is set to resume in the trial of Andrea Sneiderman, who's accused of lying under oath and hindering the investigation into her husband's death.
Lawyers are scheduled to question jurors for the third consecutive day Wednesday with the goal of finding some 40 qualified jurors for the jury pool.
The pool of qualified jurors will then be whittled down to a panel of 12, plus a handful of alternates on Thursday. Opening statements are expected to begin on Monday.
Sneiderman's husband, Rusty Sneiderman, was fatally shot in November 2010 outside a suburban Atlanta preschool.
Andrea Sneiderman's former boss Hemy Neuman was convicted in the killing, but was found mentally ill.
Prosecutors initially said Sneiderman arranged her husband's killing, but murder charges against her have been dropped.
