MACON, Georgia. (AP) - U.S. Attorney's officials say a drug dealer has been sentenced to nearly 11 years in prison.
Prosecutors say 37-year-old Deldrick Jackson of Atlanta was sentenced Tuesday in a federal court in Macon. Officials say Jackson admitted to distributing cocaine in the Macon area. Officials say the man used a courier to deliver drugs from metro Atlanta to middle Georgia.
The courier accepted payments for the drugs and returned the money to the dealer in the metro Atlanta area. Authorities say the dealer used money from drug sales to buy more cocaine.
Jackson is ordered to serve four years of supervised release after his prison sentence.
